Kerosene lamps are devices that emit light by burning fuel (kerosene). They will work well both at home, on a trip, on a plot of land, and in a home garden. Kerosene lamps are characterized by reliability and the fact that they can provide a source of light in many adverse conditions (for example, during rainfall).

On trips, kerosene lamps will not only provide light, but also repel mosquitoes, which are especially troublesome during warm summer evenings. On the terrace, veranda, balcony or in the garden, the lamps can become an interesting addition to the arrangement. It is worth having at least one kerosene lamp at home, which during blackouts and power crises will be a spare and trouble-free source of light.

It is worth knowing that the first kerosene lamp was invented by a Pole - Ignacy Lukasiewicz. Since the first models, the device has undergone many changes. Older models of kerosene lamps were heavier and more massive than those produced today. In the past, the lamps were built from a tin tank, a metal tube with holes, and a wick and kerosene. They also did not generate very strong light, and could be compared to the light emitted by 10-15 candles. The modern kerosene lamp is much smaller - the tallest models reach about 23 cm in height. Despite their smaller size, their power is greater than the light emitted by a dozen candles. The advantage of these small lamps is that they are easy to pack for a trip. It is also not difficult to store them at home.

A standard kerosene lamp emits light comparable in power to a 25-watt incandescent bulb, so it's worth stocking up, if only one such device. In the era of the global energy crisis, the specter of a blackout - a situation during which the power supply may go out - is becoming increasingly common. During a blackout, one of the first emerging problems is the lack of light in the house. It's a good idea to stock up on alternative light sources. At military.pl you will find kerosene lamps from recognized manufacturers at good prices.
