During autumn and winter, when the quality of the air we inhale drops significantly, it is worth getting Respro anti-smog masks, which you can find, of course, on our Military.pl website.

Air quality deterioration occurs during the heating season, and the main source of pollution remains the so-called low emissions - that is, the burning of non-industrial fossil fuels. The most harmful are those from heating stoves and local coal-fired boiler plants. Among other things, this leads to smog, consisting of particulate matter, soot, sulfur oxides, nitrogen oxides and carbon monoxide. It adversely affects our respiratory, circulatory and nervous systems and can even lead to cancer. The smog we face in Poland is the so-called London smog, so Respro masks - a manufacturer from the UK - will be ideal for our conditions.

Respro anti-smog masks are made of durable and flexible neoprene (in several color variants), which is washable after removing the filters. On military.pl you can choose from such Respro mask models as Sportsta, Techno and Cinqro.

Respro's Sportsta mask, thanks to its equipment with two POWA-type valves (with high airflow and capacity), is dedicated to enthusiasts of intense physical activity. The mask provides faster removal of carbon dioxide, water vapor and heat - ensuring comfortable and safe use even during intense training.

Respro's Techno or Techno Plus smog mask is designed as a universal mask for everyday use. It is ideal for use in large urban areas. It will come in handy when riding public transportation to work or school. It can also be used during urban walks.

The Cinqro-type mask, on the other hand, will work well among amateurs of outdoor, though not necessarily clean, sports in urban conditions. Its two Powa™ Elite valves guarantee rapid airflow during times of increased breathing frequency, such as jogging or cycling.

In Respro anti-smog masks, we will meet filters that use the following technologies:

- PM2.5 - filter particulate matter with a diameter of no more than 2.5 micrometers, according to the World Health Organization, among air pollutants, this dust is the most dangerous to human health, as it easily enters the bloodstream,

- PM10 - a filter of dust up to a diameter of 10 micrometers or less, containing, among other things, heavy metals, dioxins and polycyclic aromatic hydrocarbons (including particularly harmful benzopyrene), these particles go with oxygen deep into the respiratory tract, where they accumulate,

- Sub-micron - is used to capture particulate matter from the air down to 0.3 microns, namely viruses, bacteria, fungal cells and protozoa,

- L-Resistance - low-resistance sport particulate filter is dedicated during increased physical activity - such as running

- DACC (Dynamic Activated Carbon Material) - is used to filter the primary pollutants associated with vehicle emissions.

The filter life of Respro masks is 4-6 weeks. Additional and spare filters can be found, of course, at military.pl.
