Gapa is a colloquial term for a pilot's badge, which is the identification symbol of Polish military pilots. It depicts an eagle in flight with a laurel wreath in its beak and was designed by Władysław Gruberski, a lecturer at the Academy of Fine Arts in Warsaw.

Aviation gaps are the badge of military pilots, as well as some members of the flying crew (e.g. gunners, observers or navigators). The gape is also called the badge of a parachute jumper of the airborne troops.

Military gaps are a symbol widely used in Polish military aviation, used in many symbols, coats of arms and emblem of the Polish Air Force.
