Badger Outdoor Survival Ultralight Thermal NRC Tarp

The emergency thermal sheet is one of the essential elements of any survival kit. Thanks to its multifunctionality, it will find use in hiking, outdoor, rescue and even uniformed services. NRC sheet is designed to protect a person's body from rapid heat loss, insulate from ground temperature and protect from adverse weather conditions such as wind or rain. 

It is made of waterproof and durable plastic, whose surface reflects up to 90 percent of heat, protecting the body from cooling. It is double metallized in silver and orange. The reflective color allows you to easily find the injured person in the field. 

The dimensions of the tarp when unfolded flat are 206 x 130 cm. The tarp can be folded out in many ways e.g. using rope or paracord and any environment (trees, rocks, hollows), trekking poles, paddles or even a bicycle. When folded, the whole thing is compact, so it can easily fit into a backpack compartment or jacket pocket.

The sheet can also be used as:
- a thermal blanket to cover the body,
- a thermal tent,
- a warming pad for a hammock or a top layer for a sleeping bag,
- a picnic blanket or a tent floor to insulate against the cold and dampness of the ground,
- a way to transmit a signal by reflecting light.

The kit includes a drawstring carrying bag and an emergency whistle.
