Badger Outdoor Ultralight Bivy Bag NRC Thermal Sleeping Bag

The emergency thermal sleeping bag is one of the essential elements of any survival kit. Thanks to its multifunctionality, it will find use in hiking, the outdoors, rescue and even in the uniformed services. The NRC sleeping bag's purpose is to protect the human body from rapid heat loss, insulate against ground temperatures and protect against adverse weather conditions such as wind or rain. 

It is made of waterproof and durable plastic. Its surface is metallised on both sides in silver and orange. The reflective colour makes it easy to find the injured person in the field. The foil from which it is made reflects up to 90 per cent of the heat, protecting the body from chilling.

When unfolded flat, the sleeping bag measures 90 x 220 cm. When folded, the sleeping bag is compact and fits easily into a rucksack compartment or jacket pocket.

The sleeping bag can also be used as:
- a thermal blanket to cover the body,
- a thermal blanket to cover the body, the inner insulation of a classic sleeping bag,
- a picnic blanket or the floor of a tent, insulating against the cold and wetness of the ground,
- a way of transmitting a signal by reflecting light.

A drawstring carry bag and an emergency whistle are included.
