Badger Outdoor X-Thermo Tarp Olive

Universal bivouac canopy with thermal insulation measuring 300 x 280 cm allowing quick and easy preparation of shelter during a longer hike or bike trip. The sheet was made of waterproof and lightweight polyester, therefore it is a great alternative to the classic heavy tent.

On one side, the X-Thermo tarp is coated with thermal insulation layer, which increases thermal comfort on cooler nights. On hot days, the thermo layer reflects the sun's rays, significantly lowering the temperature under the tarp. The other side of the tarp is made in olive green color, which easily absorbs heat and is unobtrusive -both in forested areas, mountains and in the open.

Dismantling the tarp is very easy and takes only a few minutes. Tarp can be disassembled in many ways e.g. using rope (included) or paracord and any surroundings (trees, rocks, terrain depressions), trekking poles, paddles, or even a bicycle. Reinforced hooks allow quick conversion of the canopy structure into a double-sided tent. Bonded main seam and mounting points ensure high durability of the product.

The tarp can also be used as:
- A thermal tent,
- rescue stretcher,
- a sunscreen sail,
. - warming pad for a hammock or a top layer for a sleeping bag,
. - a picnic blanket or tent floor to insulate against the cold and wetness of the ground,
. - heat reflector,
- a means of broadcasting an emergency signal by reflecting light.
