Live broadcasts in all countries of the world, billions of TV viewers, shock and disbelief of commentators. When the two planes hit New York's World Trade Centre towers, we all probably realized that our world had irrevocably changed.
The earliest to be prepared for the inevitable war in the Middle East were Polish operators from the GROM unit. They began their grueling training while still in Poland: jumping from an oil tanker into the rough waves of the Baltic Sea, conquering an oil rig, training for abduction, – all this was to prepare them for the challenges during operations in the waters of the Persian Gulf.
Their home for months would become the large hangar at the US Doha base, their daily routine the cannonades in the sun-scorched desert and dangerous operations in the Gulf waters.
Thanks to their dedication, professionalism and hard work, they have earned the friendship and brotherhood of arms of soldiers from the legendary NAVY SEAL unit.
This mission is proof of how hard the operators of GROM had to fight for their place in history.
The book is written in Polish.
