The binoculars use a prism system of the porro made of BK7 glass. Binoculars having this type of system are characterized by larger size, but in return they can have a wider field of view and offer a more stereoscopic, three-dimensional image than compact binoculars with roof-type (roof) construction.  An additional advantage are lenses with anti-reflective coatings, which translates into minimizing unwanted reflections and losses of light passing through the optical system. As a result, the resulting image is bright, sharp and well-represents true colors.

Focus adjustment is carried out using a central knob on the bridge between the binoculars' tubes. The optics are protected by a durable rubber-coated housing with a non-slip texture that helps absorb accidental bumps and drops from low heights.
