The glasses, secured with anti-scratch and anti-fog coatings, also protect the wearer's eyes from solar glare and harmful ultraviolet radiation according to the European EN 172 - Solar (100% UV) standard of 5-1.4.
They are certified to withstand mechanical damage from direct impact according to the F standard (an object weighing 0.86 g moving at 45 m/s).
