An achromatic refractor with an objective diameter of 114 mm and a focal length of 1000 mm.
This lenticular telescope collects 187x more light than the human eye at night. It is mounted on an equatorial mount, and the whole thing is light enough to allow easy movement to other locations, such as away from artificial light sources that have an adverse effect on night sky observations. The image seen is bright and high-contrast.
