The Celestron PowerSeeker series of telescopes is designed to give the budding astronomer the perfect combination of quality, price and magnification size. This telescope offers an exceptional price, portability, and abundant features are the perfect introduction to the world of amateur astronomy.
The PowerSeeker telescope is the perfect introduction to the world of amateur astronomy.
The PowerSeeker 127EQ is a mirror telescope that collects almost 300 times more light than the human eye. It is mounted on a parallactic mount. The telescopes in this series produce bright and high-contrast images of the Moon and planets. The 127 mm mirror allows observation of the Sun (special filter required), Moon, Mercury, Venus, Mars, Jupiter including its moons, Saturn, Uranus and Neptune. Within the range of the telescope are comets, asteroids and outside the Planetary System quite a large number of galaxies, nebulae, globular and open clusters, double and multiple stars. With this telescope we will trace all objects in Messier's catalog and a large part from NGC catalog. The telescope due to light weight is ideal as a portable instrument that we can take by car to areas with better air clarity away from big cities.
