Celestron PowerSeeker 127EQ Telescope
Celestron PowerSeeker series of telescopes is designed to give the beginning astronomer the perfect combination of quality, price and magnification size. This telescope offers an exceptional price, mobility, and extensive equipment are the perfect introduction to the world of amateur astronomy.
PowerSeeker 127EQ is a mirror telescope that collects almost 300 times more light than the human eye. It is mounted on an equatorial mount. Telescopes of this series produce bright and high-contrast images of the Moon and planets. The 127 mm mirror allows observations of the Sun (special filter required), Moon, Mercury, Venus, Mars, Jupiter including its moons, Saturn, Uranus and Neptune. Within the range of the telescope are comets, asteroids and outside the Planetary System a fairly large number of galaxies, nebulae, globular and open clusters, double and multiple stars. With this telescope, you can trace all objects in the Messier catalog and a large part of the NGC catalog. Due to its light weight, the telescope is ideal as a portable instrument that we can take by car to areas with better air clarity away from big cities.
