Fjord Nansen Nordkapp 800 Mid Sleeping Bag 1150 g - Left
A model designed for winter use. It guarantees thermal comfort at -7 °C for women (T-comfort) and -14 °C for men (T-limit). Ergonomic mummy-type design reduces the internal space, which increases the efficiency of heat retention.
The filling consists of European duck down and feathers in a ratio of 91/9, protected by a water repellent coating. The treated down handles moisture better, absorbs it more slowly and dries faster. Thanks to the springiness of 700 cuin, the sleeping bag features excellent compression, allowing it to be packed into a small size.
A thermal collar has been placed at shoulder height, which effectively prevents cold air from entering. The 3D hood is equipped with additionally insulated edges, resembling a down-filled tube.
20D nylon, WR water repellent layer, foot insulation, H-shaped chambers
The outer material is 20D nylon, featuring high strength, abrasion resistance and light weight. The WR (Water Repellent) water repellent layer provides effective protection against moisture.
Additional insulation has been sewn in the foot area, which improves thermal comfort while sleeping. The trim along the zipper has been filled with down, which prevents the intrusion of cold air. The H-shaped chamber design prevents the down from shifting and clumping.
Anti-Bite sytem, Footbox, inner pocket
The zipper with Anti-Bite technology, located on the left side, unzips at full length to prevent the zipper from jamming. A drawstring at the top ensures extra comfort on chilly nights. Loops allow you to install a liner, which prevents the liner from moving when you stand up from the sleeping bag.
The sleeping bag can be combined with another model with a zipper on the right side, creating one complete combination.
Footbox with puller allows easy opening and airflow adjustment. Duo double rubber bands allow you to loosen the drawstrings without leaving the sleeping bag. There is an interior pocket for small items.
Temperature range
The most important parameters that determine the temperature ranges for sleeping bags are presented in the form of values:
- T-max - the highest temperature at which the average man can sleep through the night without excessive sweating or discomfort from heat,
- T-comfort - the lowest temperature at which the average woman can sleep through the night in comfort,
- T-limit - the lowest temperature at which the average man is able to sleep through the night.
