Fjord Nansen Svalbard 510 Duck Hydro Mid Sleeping Bag 825 g - left
A lightweight and compact sleeping bag, providing optimum thermal comfort at 0°C for women (T-comfort) and -6°C for men (T-limit). Made of durable 10D Rip-Stop WR nylon material , with water repellent properties, with a filling consisting of down and feathers from European ducks.
tkanina nylon 10D Rip-Stop, powłoka WR, kształt mumii, H-kształtne komory
Both inner and outer fabrics are 10D Rip-Stop nylon, coated with a WR hydrophobic coating to reduce moisture soaking. The Rip-Stop weave increases the fabric's resistance to mechanical damage. Carefully designed construction minimises weight and size when packed, while providing high thermal insulation. The ergonomic mummy shape reduces unnecessary internal space for heating, and the chambers with H-separators effectively eliminate the risk of ‘cold spots’. Additional padding is used in the foot area to increase thermal comfort. A pocket for small valuables has been placed inside.
down and duck feather filling, elasticity 800 ciun
The sleeping bag is filled with down and feathers in a 92/8 ratio, which provides excellent compression and lightness. Thanks to its impregnation, down copes better with moisture - it soaks up water more slowly and dries more quickly. The fill has a spring rate of 800 cuin, which translates into a small pack size.
Zipped closure, drawstring at the bottom, small inner pocket
The full-length zip, located on the left side, is equipped with an Anti-Bite system , which prevents the zip from jamming. A drawstring at the top increases protection against the cold. Loops allow for the attachment of an insole, which remains in place during use. Footbox with bottom drawstring allows ventilation in the foot area to be adjusted. Duo elastic double webbing allows the drawstrings to be adjusted without leaving the sleeping bag. There is a functional pocket inside for small items.
Temperature range
The most important indicators used to describe the limits and temperature ranges of sleeping bags are generally denoted by values:
- T-max - the maximum temperature at which a man of average build is able to sleep through the night without sweating excessively or waking up because of the heat,
- T-comfort - the lowest temperature at which an average woman can sleep comfortably through the night,
- T-limit - the lowest temperature at which the average man can sleep through the night.
