Fjord Nansen Svalbard 680 Duck Hydro XL Sleeping Bag 1070 g - right
A compact and lightweight sleeping bag, providing thermal comfort in temperatures down to -4°C for women (T-comfort) and -11°C for men (T-limit). Made of extremely durable 10D Rip-Stop WR nylon material , which effectively protects against moisture thanks to its hydrophobic coating. Filling with down and feathers from European ducks provides thermal insulation and high resilience.
10D Rip-Stop nylon fabric, WR coating, mummy shape, H-shaped compartments
The 10D Rip-Stop nylon fabric, both outer and inner, is distinguished by its low weight and high resistance to mechanical damage, thanks to the Rip-Stop weave used. The WR coating further reduces moisture absorption, which significantly increases the functionality of the sleeping bag in harsh weather conditions. The mummy-shaped design and H-chamber system minimize heat loss, eliminating cold spots at the seams. Additional padding in the foot zone increases comfort in cold temperatures, and an internal pocket allows storage of small items.
Filling with down and duck feathers, elasticity 800 ciun
The sleeping bag contains down and feathers in a 92/8 ratio, which provides a high spring rate of 800 cuin. The impregnated down is more resistant to moisture - it absorbs it more slowly and dries faster. The high compression makes the sleeping bag take up little space when packed, making it an ideal choice for hiking or long expeditions.
Zippered, drawstring at bottom, small inner pocket
The full-length zipper located on the right side is equipped with an Anti-Bite system, which prevents the zipper from jamming. A drawstring at the top allows additional protection on chilly nights. The sleeping bag also has a footbox in the form of a bottom puller, allowing air circulation to be adjusted and easily unzipped. A handy pocket for small accessories has been placed inside. Loops allow the installation of a liner, which stays in place during use.
Temperature range
The most important indicators, with which the limits and temperature ranges of sleeping bags are described, as a rule, are marked with values:
- T-max - the maximum temperature at which an average-built man is able to sleep through the night without sweating excessively or waking up because of the heat,
- T-comfort - the lowest temperature at which the average woman can sleep comfortably through the night,
- T-limit - the lowest temperature at which the average man can sleep through the night.
