Gerber Gator Combo Axe I with a knife

A survival kit consisting of a hatchet with a deep-set stainless steel head in the handle and a knife with a fixed Drop-Point profile blade retracted directly into the handle.

In both tools, the handle is made of fiberglass-reinforced nylon covered with a rubber non-slip coating imitating alligator skin. Gator Grip liners provide a secure grip when the hand is wet or when wearing gloves.

Inside the handle of the hatchet is a magnet that holds the knife tucked inside.
