Fleece Helikon Patriot - Flecktarn

Warm, soft, zippered fleece sweatshirt with a spacious hood with visor. The 380 g/m2 material provides thermal insulation for even the most severe frosts, allowing simultaneous removal of excess heat and moisture (sweat) released during exercise. Increasing breathability and thermal exchange with the environment is facilitated by, zippered, armpit vents. The opening and closing directions of the zippers are chosen so that the owner will have no trouble operating them independently.

Thanks to the generous cut, a thinner sweatshirt can be worn under the sweatshirt, but even a bulletproof vest will fit there. The back part is slightly elongated to protect the kidneys from being blown up, but the whole jacket is quite short - mainly to provide unobstructed access to pockets and equipment carried on the trouser belt. 

The jacket has six pockets:
- two chest ones closed with zippers,
- two on the sleeves at shoulder height,
- one on the left sleeve above the wrist,
- one so-called "poacher pocket" - on the back under the cross with two independent accesses - from the right and left sides.

Pockets on the shoulders have a soft velcro allowing to attach a properly prepared patch.

The hood is spacious enough to wear over a head already protected by a cap. It has a soft visor to protect the wearer from water runoff directly on the face. The hood is sewn to the collar in such a way that the lining does not expose the neck. In this way, the wearer is protected from getting winded in particularly sensitive areas.

The sleeves from the wrist to the elbow have been reinforced with a durable material, while the elastic cuffs have been replaced with a velcro-fastened patch, allowing the size to be adjusted depending on the thickness of the wrist, as well as whether the wearer is also wearing gloves or a watch, for example.

The ECWCS garment should be used to protect the body from hypothermia due to airing or getting wet.
