Helikon Bergen 18 l Backpack - Desert Night Camo

An 18-liter backpack from the Bushcraft Line survival series. It refers in its design to the backpacks of British and Polish special forces from the World War II era. It was made of durable and abrasion-resistant 500D Cordura.

The main compartment and 3 external pockets are secured with flaps, under which there are extensions adjustable with pullers with stoppers. This protects the interior from the ingress of mud and dust, and the carried contents from falling out. All flaps are closed with fastex buckles. 

The main compartment has been equipped with a vertical zippered pocket and an internal handle for attaching a hydration cartridge, and allows the cartridge tube to be routed out on both sides of the backpack. There is also a flat zippered pocket on the top flap. All zippers were manufactured by YKK and are finished with trocords for easy operation.

The use of webbing compatible with the MOLLE/PALS standard allows for attaching additional pockets and accessories to the backpack. The webbing is located on the main compartment flap, as well as on the front and sides of the backpack under a camouflage protective strip. The backpack also features three slots for carrying external gear such as a survival axe and two open pockets for carrying, for example, a folding saw or knife.

There are four straps on the specially reinforced bottom of the backpack, to which a sleeping bag or jacket can be clipped after attaching trousers or paracord cord.

The carrying system consists of a padded back with shock-absorbing cushions trimmed with breathable mesh fabric and anatomical, adjustable shoulders. The suspenders are equipped with mounting straps. The quick-release system allows the backpack to be instantly dropped in an emergency. Additional stabilization during use is provided by a detachable hip belt and chest strap. At the top of the backpack is a short handle for carrying in hand.

A 9 x 5 cm velcro panel on the front allows attaching any patch or emblem, such as a national flag, unit emblem or so-called Morale Patches.
