Warm, soft, zippered fleece jacket with a high 11 cm collar made of material of 390 g/m2 -provides thermal insulation for even the most severe frosts allowing simultaneous removal of excess heat and moisture (sweat) released during exercise. Increased breathability and thermal exchange with the environment is facilitated by underarm vents closed by zippers. The opening and closing directions of the zippers are selected so that the owner will not have problems with their independent operation.
Thanks to the spacious cut you can wear a thinner sweatshirt under the jacket, but even a bulletproof vest will fit. The rear section is slightly elongated to protect the kidneys from being blown up, but the whole jacket is quite short - mainly so as not to obstruct access to pockets and equipment carried on the waistband of the pants.
The jacket's length is also slightly longer.
The jacket hassix pockets:
- two chest ones closed with zippers,
- two on the sleeves at shoulder height,
- one on the left sleeve above the wrist,
- one so-called poacher's pocket - on the back under the cross-body with two independent accesses - from the right and left side.
On the shoulder pockets were sewn velcro panels (Velcro) allowing you to attach any patches or emblems, such as the national flag, the emblem of the unit or the so-called Morale Patches, so you can give your sweatshirt an individual character.
The sleeves from wrist to elbow have been reinforced with a strong material, while the elastic cuffs have been replaced with a velcro fastening patch, which allows you to adjust the size depending on the thickness of your wrist, as well as whether the wearer is also wearing gloves or a watch, for example. At the top, the fleece has a high, 11 cm collar to protect the neck from unfriendly weather conditions.
In order to protect the body from hypothermia due to airing or getting wet, use ECWCS clothing.
