The emergency radio with powerbank function is designed to provide connectivity, information and energy in emergency situations and outdoor adventures.
It features two power modes that are switched via a switch located in the battery compartment, allowing you to use the built-in 1,200 mAh battery or standard AAA batteries. The Li-Ion battery is charged via a hand crank dynamo type or from an external power source via a USB-C port.
The device has a standard USB Type A output, which is used to charge other devices such as a plasma lighter or headlamp, thus acting as an emergency powerbank, which is extremely useful in the event of a long-term power outage. A red LED indicates when current is being generated.
The radio is equipped with an input for headphones, an SOS emergency siren, which can be used in emergency situations to attract the attention of rescuers. A built-in LED flashlight provides illumination in the dark, and a charge indicator shows battery status. There's also auto-tuning capability, making it easy to find and listen to radio stations.
Turning the crank for 2 minutes provides:
- 30 minutes of flashlight operation,
- 4 minutes of radio operation (maximum volume),
- 4 minutes of SOS siren operation.
