A thermal blanket is one of the indispensable components of any survival kit. It is used in hiking, outdoors, rescue and even in uniformed services. The blanket is designed to protect a person's body from rapid heat loss, insulate from the ground temperature and protect from adverse weather conditions like wind or rain.
It is made of hypoallergenic and water-resistant PET film. Its surface is metallized on both sides in silver and gold. Worn with the silver side against the wearer's body, it protects against cold, while the gold side protects against overheating. The reflective color makes it easy to find the injured person in the field.
The dimensions of the film when unfolded are as large as 160 x 210 cm, however, the design allows it to be folded, making it easy to fit even in the smallest pocket of a backpack or jacket.
