Katadyn Vario Water Filter - Black

Lightweight and compact filter equipped with an advanced filtration system that allows you to filter about 2000 liters of water. It eliminates bacteria, protozoa, cysts, algae, spores and sediments. The hose allows water to be drawn in from the source and pre-treated, then poured directly into the vessel.

The model uses 3 types of filters. The first, ceramic, removes sediment and microorganisms found in lakes and rivers. The fiberglass filter protects against bacteria and protozoa, and the replaceable activated carbon granules ensure the natural taste of water and remove unpleasant odors.

The Multi-Stage Filtration System feature allows you to choose between two water filtration modes:
- Longer Life mode preserves longer filter life by purifying water at a rate of 1 liter per minute,
- Faster Flow mode allows rapid filtration with a capacity of 2 liters per minute.

Thanks to the Adapter Base design, it is possible to connect the base of the filter to some bottles with a wide fill (such as Naglene Wide Mouth). The bottom outlet allows you to pour the filtered water directly into the vessel.

The small size makes the filter easy to transport and will work very well in areas where there is limited availability of bottled water. The rubber base allows you to stand it stably upright, without fear of tipping it over.
