Lightweight uniform pants made of a material that is a combination of cotton and polyester.The material is lightweight and dries faster than 100% cotton.The model uses Rip-Stop weave, which significantly increases tear resistance
The pants are equipped with 4 pockets:
- 2 classic hip ones,
- 2 cargo type closed with a button patch.
In addition, there are special pockets on the knees for knee pads.
Reinforcements in areas particularly prone to abrasion, ensure a long service life. The strut is fastened with a button and a zipper of the Japanese company YKK. The belt loops allow you to wear a belt with a maximum width of 55 mm .
The name MM-14 is an abbreviation for маскувальний малюнок (maskuvalʹnyy malyunok = camouflage pattern) and the year 2014, when the camouflage was officially approved. The pattern refers to the American UCP camouflage, but shades were chosen to match the colors naturally found on Ukrainian territory. The introduction of the MM-14 camouflage pattern was an important part of the Ukrainian army's reform to break with post-Soviet identification. Unofficially, MM14 camouflage also goes by the names Ukrainian Pixel Camo and Ukrainian Digital Camo.
