Maskpol KO-1 protective hood

Universal protective hood KO-1 from the Polish company Maskpol. Designed to protect the head and upper respiratory tract from contaminants, gas vapors, floating dusts and areosols.

The hood is equipped with an Rd 40x1/7" connector in accordance with EN 148-1, which allows to complete the hood with absorbers and filter absorbers. It allows protection against organic compounds with a boiling point >65°C, acid gases and vapors, ammonia and derivatives (up to a concentration of 0.5% by volume), inorganic compounds with the exception of carbon monoxide, as well as mists and areosols at oxygen concentrations above 17%.

There are adjustment straps around the hood, allowing adults and children 12 and older to use the hood. The proper fit of the hood around the face allows the user to maintain full safety while in adverse environments.

The hood meets standards such as:
- PN-EN 140:2001 - Respiratory protective equipment,
- PN-EN 403:2007 - Escape respiratory protective equipment, Filtering equipment equipped with a hood for use during a fire,
- PN-EN 148-1:2002 - Respiratory protective equipment, Threads for facepieces -Part 1: Connector with round thread.

Compliance with the above standards has allowed the company to obtain a certificate (EC/S/2919/2018) for personal protective equipment.
