Individual bandage Matopat type "W" - Small

Small, sterile individual military-type dressing. It allows for stemming heavy bleeding. It does not require the use of a supportive dressing. It's used for dressing wounds with a large amount of bleeding.

It is made of two absorbent fibrous pads (cotton-gauze), a woven elastic bandage, and a sheet of polyurethane foil. The dressing is waterproof. One pad is permanently attached to the bandage, and the other can be slid along the band, which allows for dressing various kinds of wounds, including through-and-through gunshot wounds. The foil sheet enables sealing wounds e.g., on the chest.

There's no need for a supportive dressing to apply this dressing, as the bandage allows for securely attaching the dressing to the wound. Airtight, foil packaging protects the dressing from water, moisture, and dirt.

Shelf life: 5 years from the date of manufacture

The set includes:
