A versatile, highly functional glove designed to provide basic mechanical protection in all conditions, Mechanix Wear gloves are a very good choice for people who appreciate gloves that are lightweight, comfortable and protect the hand well.
The upper part of the gloves is made of breathable, lightweight Form-fitting TrekDry® material that reduces hand perspiration. The durable synthetic leather used to sew the grip section provides a firm grip and sensory control, and allows touchscreen devices to be operated without removing the gloves. The thumb and index finger are reinforced with an extra layer of material.
The cuff is fastened with a strap made of TPR ( Thermoplastic Rubber - a thermoplastic rubber conforming to EN 13594) using Velcro.
Mechanix gloves are perfect for survival expeditions, auto repair shop work, DIY, ASG or paintball games. Mechanix gloves are also gladly used by operators of special units.
The gloves meet the protective standard EN388-3121X for resistance to mechanical actions which means:
- 3: abrasion resistance (on a scale of 0-4)
- 1: cut resistance (on a scale of 0-5)
- 2: tear resistance (on a scale of 0-4)
- 1: puncture resistance (on a scale of 0-4).
