Level II thermal underwear set consisting of a long-sleeved T-shirt and pants - designed to be worn next to the skin and constituting the first level of the U.S. Army's uniform system: Generation III Extended Cold Weather Clothing System (GEN III ECWCS).
The underwear is made of quick-drying fleece with a mesh structure that provides quick moisture wicking and increases evaporative surface area. During cold weather, it helps maintain thermal comfort.
The shirt is equipped with thumbholes in the sleeves that make it easy to put on multiple layers of clothing. High collar with zipper closure protects against cold and wind. The collar stand is finished with a chin guard. The pants are equipped with an elastic waistband and an opening.
