Metal detector Minelab Equinox 800

The state-of-the-art and advanced Equinox 800 metal detector features a waterproof 11" intelligent coil for operation in harsh weather conditions and underwater at submersions of up to 3m depth.

The unit can operate in 4 modes: Park, Field, Beach and Gold, as well as 8 user-programmable search profiles. For maximum performance, 5 different operating frequencies and a Multi mode are used. 

Multi-IQ technology relies on multi-frequency detection and is comparable to the characteristics known from the combination of FBS and VFLEX technology. Multi-IQ achieves high accuracy digital target identification at depths far exceeding the capabilities of other single frequency detectors. This ensures maximum detection sensitivity, regardless of object type or size, while minimising ground-based interference (especially in saline environments).

The diagram below illustrates how the different frequencies are suitable for searching for given targets. Lower frequencies are designed for finding larger, deeper objects, such as militaria or large silver coins. The high frequencies will work well for smaller objects or lower conductivity, such as bronze objects, jewellery or gold nuggets. 

The 60 x 63 mm easy-to-read LCD display features a multi-stage backlight for easy reading.

The detector is powered by a built-in 5000 mAh Li-Ion battery allowing up to 12 hours of operation. Battery charging time is approximately 4 hours.
