Nite Ize Steelie HobKnob Kit

Steelie is one of the most convenient and effective phone and tablet mounting systems. The HobKnob Kit version is an aluminum knob that attaches with a magnet to the case of a tablet, e-book reader and other such devices. It has two functions: a mini stand that allows us to comfortably read and operate the touch screen of the device, and a handle that is perfect for presentations, carrying the device and reading.

It is compact, versatile and convenient to use. It consists of two parts: a neodymium magnet enclosed in a 6061 aluminum housing glued to the tablet case, and a CNC-machined aluminum handle with a soft, non-slip rubber tip. For mounting to the device there is a strong, yet easy to peel and non-destructive 3M VHB soft adhesive tape. The magnet mounting and silicone inserts make the holder conveniently rotate 360°.

After detaching the handle, the device can then be attached to any metal surface, such as refrigerator doors, steel shelves and cabinets. Thanks to this solution, it is easily visible and accessible at any time.

Note: the phone mount contains a strong magnet. It does not harm tablets or phones, however, it should not be placed near objects such as ATM cards, pacemakers or computer hard drives.
