Njord Kare Extra Large Hatchet
A versatile, large axe with a carbon steel head and ash wood handle. Ideal for bushcraft, it is perfect for building a shelter, preparing wood for a campfire, and felling small trees. The design is inspired by the axes used by the Vikings.
Carbon steel
The head is made of durable carbon steel with a hardness of 57 HRC. In addition, it has been sandblasted, which gives the surface an aged effect.
Ash wood, wax and oil impregnated
The shaped handle is made of ash wood, protected with a layer of beeswax and linseed oil, which effectively protects the wood against moisture and mould growth.
Set elements
The set includes a handmade leather scabbard with a belt loop, allowing the axe to be carried comfortably at the belt.
