A modern and easy-to-use metal detector that can be used both on land and underwater. The Legend LD30 model is a new, redesigned version of the unit. The IP68 waterproof rating allows the metal detector to be fully submerged up to three metres and provides complete dust and dirt resistance. On the new version of The Legend, the coil and armrest are lighter and the centre pillar has been made from carbon fibre, resulting in a lighter weight for the entire unit. In addition, the design changes have significantly improved the ergonomics when working with the detector.

The unit can operate in four modes (Field, Park, Gold Fields, Beach) with several single frequency options of 4 kHz, 10 kHz, 15 kHz, 20 kHz, 40 kHz and a Multi-Frequency mode. Built-in frequency detuning allows the elimination of EMI (electromagnetic) interference. An advanced beach mode facilitates detection of finds in dry sand, wet sand and also underwater. In addition to the useful 60 audio tones, the unit additionally indicates the detection of a find by vibration.

The detector is powered by a built-in 5050 mAh LiPo battery allowing up to 20 hours of operation. It has the ability to be additionally powered by an external battery or PowerBank while searching.
