Opticon SkyChart 203F800EQ-4 telescope

An astronomical mirror telescope (reflector) with an aperture of 203 mm and a focal length of 800 mm, the Opticon SkyChart 203F800EQ-4 is an elementary tool introducing the field of amateur astronomy. The resolution capability of the device allows you to resolve stars 1' away from each other.

The EQ4 parallactic mount equipped with micromotion allows you to set up the telescope according to an atlas or sky map, and smoothly move in the axis of rectascension and declination. The mount should be properly set up and aligned with the north pole of the sky, which facilitates further operation of the device.

The Opticon SkyChart is suitable for observing the planets Jupiter, Saturn, Mars, Venus and Mercury, as well as objects from the so-called Deep Space, such as nebulae, galaxies, (the Adromeda Galaxy or the famous Great Orion Nebula).The telescope is also adapted for detailed viewing of the Moon's surface - mountains, seas, gullies, craters and surface cracks. A replaceable contrast filter improves the image quality during full moon.

The telescope comes with a QR code (on the leaflet), after scanning which you can access a sky map, computer programs, a practical guide and a documentary film.
