Opticon Zodiac 450x76 mm Telescope

A professional mirror telescope mounted on an EQ-II tripod. The Zodiac is ideal for beginners, as well as, thanks to additional expansion capabilities, will meet the expectations of those who already have experience with sky observation.

The 76mm-diameter main mirror and 900mm focal length provide very good performance, which, combined with the high quality of the lens , guarantees bright, clear and high-contrast images of stars, planets and the Moon. The equipment matches the very successful Horizon EX model, and further surpasses it with the ability to conveniently track objects in the sky with precise micromotion. The EQ-II head makes it easy to find objects in the sky based on coordinates read from a star atlas.

With the included straightening lens, the telescope can also function as an observation and landscape telescope.

The telescope is equipped with three interchangeable eyepieces and a Barlow lens that doubles the range of available magnifications. The Zodiac allows the use of components in the 1.25" standard allowing further expansion.

The telescope comes with a QR code (on the flyer), after scanning which you can access a sky map, computer programs, a practical guide and a documentary film.
