Peltor ComTac VIII 3M Active Hearing Protectors with microphone - Grey

Professional hearing protectors with active noise cancellation function. The model is equipped with two high-frequency microphones to aid in the audibility of ambient sounds.

Peltor ComTac VIII ear defenders have an attenuation level of 29 dB.

The protectors are equipped with the ability to adjust the volume of sounds heard and conversations as needed. The use of an advanced electronic circuit protects against impulse and constant noise. A listening mode with Mission Audio Profiles (MAP) maximizes hearing quality based on the acoustic environment. Spatial sound analysis automatically shapes sounds and helps improve speech understanding in noise.

The wide cushions insulate very well from noise. The lower part is profiled, so that the protectors do not interfere with shooting. The low-profile headband evenly distributes pressure on the head, allowing them to be worn for long periods without feeling uncomfortable pressure. The expandable design makes it easy to adapt the protectors to the shape of the shooter's head. The model is compatible with most military helmets.

The ear protection is equipped with a microphone on the headband, so it can be used as a headset for radio communication. After the application of an appropriate PTT adapter, the headset is compatible with the majority of radios used by uniformed services and the army, e.g.

- Radmor.

The Peltor ComTac VIII is powered by two AAA batteries, which are sufficient for approximately 50 hours of operation. Replacing them only requires removing the panel on the side of one of the shells. The device is equipped with a low power warning system and an automatic shut-off function after 4 hours of non-use.

The ear protectors comply with MIL-STD-810H and MIL-STD-461G.
