Pulsar Krypton 2 XG50 Thermal Imaging Cap
A thermal imaging cap designed to work with rifle scopes at magnifications from 2x to 6x. It is mounted on the scope's lens with an adapter (not included). The cap is designed to make its mounting on a day scope simple, fast and repeatable. For precise positioning of the cap relative to the scope's aiming point, an auxiliary crosshair has been added to the cap's menu.
The Krypton 2 XG50 is additionally equipped with a 3x20B observation monocular mounted to the rear of the thermal imaging cap. Once the monocular is attached, the unit becomes a thermal imager with 3x magnification.
The cap's housing is made of magnesium alloy, which makes it excellent at dissipating heat from electronic circuits, and also guarantees high mechanical resistance (6000 J). Thanks to its high durability, the device can be used even with large calibers like 375H&H or 9.3x64. The cap's housing meets the IPX7 waterproof standard (which allows the device to be submerged at a depth of 1 meter for 30 minutes). The device can operate in a wide temperature range from -25 to +50 deg. C.
The cap uses an AMOLED HD display with a resolution of 1920x1080 pixels and a 640x480 sensor with a pixel size of 12 µm, which features high thermal contrast and NETD sensitivity of <40 mK. A German-made lens with a focal length of 50 mm and an F1.0 focal length allows detection of a target at a distance of up to 2,300 meters. With the Display OFF function, you can turn the display on and off without turning the unit off, saving battery power and making it easier to stay hidden.
The cap image can be customized with a palette of eight color variations:
- White Hot - for object detection,
- Black Hot - for object detection,
- Hot Red - for object detection,
- RedMonochrome - for long night observations,
- Rainbow - for recognition and identification,
- Ultramarine - for recognition and identification,
- Violet - for long night observations,
- Sepia - for long night observations.
The cap has a built-in video/photo recorder with 16GB of memory and a Wi-Fi module for connecting to a mobile device. With the StreamVision 2 app, the thermal imager can be remotely observed.
The device is powered by a 6400 mAh IPS7-type battery that allows for 11 hours of continuous use. For charging, there is a cable with a USB-C adapter, which can simultaneously be used to connect to a computer.
