Quest Xpointer Max Magic Holster metal detector

Handheld metal detector from Quest Metal Detectors. It is used for precise tracking of small objects. On the non-slip handle of the device there are two control buttons, OLED screen and indicator lights.

The Max version, through a variable beep, different colored LEDs and symbols on the display, tells whether the targeted object is ferrous or made of another metal. The screen also shows the distance from the target. Tuning to the ground is done automatically or manually, according to the user's preference.

Xpointer Max has 4 sensitivity levels: low, medium, high and boost. In addition, it allows you to choose from 3 modes for signaling your find: sound alone, vibration alone, and a combination of sound and vibration.

The speaker has been built into the nut at the end of the handle, so the sound coming out of it can be heard very well. When the speaker is unscrewed, a headphone jack and a USB-C standard charging port are available.

An integrated lithium-polymer battery with a capacity of 1000 mAh is responsible for powering the detector. A fully charged battery is sufficient for about 14 hours of searching. The detector is equipped with a battery level indication option.

The housing provides watertightness up to 5m in both fresh and salt water. A function to emit an audible signal when lost has also been implemented in the device.

The detector comes with a magnetic Magic Holster. When the pinpointer is taken out of the holster, it turns on automatically, which makes it easier to operate the tool, for example, in winter, when thick gloves or frozen hands are used to turn on the detector.
