Salewa Wildfire Edge MID GTX shoes - Black

Sturdy and lightweight approach shoes designed for hiking in difficult terrain and climbing in the mountains. The Salewa Switchfit system used allows for easy and quick compression of the shoes in the toe area.

The breathable inner lining with membrane Gore-Tex Extended Comfort provides maximum comfort in harsh climatic conditions. It keeps feet dry and wicks moisture away from the shoe.

The Wildfire Edge MID GTX model uses an insole with an extra rigid Edging Plate, which provides additional directional rigidity, while the rest of the insole remains flexible to allow for natural foot movement.

The sole Support Speed MTN Pro is made of durable rubber that provides good traction on smooth surfaces. The special-profile sole design will perform very well on muddy and soft terrain, providing effective grip in both wet and dry conditions.

The foot in front and on the edge is protected by an additional layer of rubber. This solution makes it more difficult for injuries to occur to the foot, protecting the edges from direct impacts on stones or roots.

Additionally, in the shoes the manufacturer used a stiffening under the ankle and System 3F,  achieving a good fit and support. High-quality insoles Multi Fit Footbed Plus (MFF+) can be individually adjusted to the shape of the wearer's foot. The elastic cuff effectively prevents stones from entering the shoe.
