The whetstone has a gradation of 180/600. The corundum abrasive surface is 20 centimeters by 7 centimeters.
- The 180 gradation is used for pre-treating dull edges,
- gradation 600 is used to restore the sharpness of dull edges.
The increased hardness of the SHARPI stone according to the Japanese JIS standard ensures faster sharpening and less wear. The set includes a stand to prevent the whetstone from slipping while working.
Instructions for use: soak the stone in water (just spray) or use sharpener oil. Place the whetstone on a flat surface. To sharpen the knife, slide over the stone (pressing lightly) several times first one, then the other side of the knife. When sharpening the knife, try to maintain the correct angle of the knife (15 degrees - 30 degrees).
