Sharpi 8000 Whetstone

A whetstone with a gradation of 8000 and a grain size of 1.4. Equipped with an 18-by-6-cm alumina abrasive surface for long life and low wear.

The increased hardness of the stone according to the Japanese JIS R6001 standard ensures faster sharpening. Designed for kitchen knives, pocket knives, hunting knives and shears, gardening tools, axes, machetes, razors, chisels and other steel tools.

Instructions for use: soak or spray the stone with water, or use sharpener oil. It is recommended to set the whetstone on a flat surface. The sharpening process is carried out by moving (slightly pressing) several times first one, then the other side of the knife. The best effect can be obtained by using the correct angle of the knife (15 degrees - 30 degrees).

The set includes a mat to prevent the whetstone from slipping while working.
