Sky-Watcher (Synta) BKP13065EQ2 telescope

The Sky Watcher BKP13065EQ2 telescope is an ideal model for an introduction to the world of amateur astronomy. It is equipped with parabolic main mirror, thus avoiding one of the optical defects - spherical aberration.

Optical system
Mirror telescope (Newton system). Due to its brightness, the telescope is especially recommended for observing nebular objects. This model will also work well for observing planetary objects and also the craters of the Moon. The main advantage of this telescope is the large 130 mm parabolic mirror, which is the most important element of the telescope that determines what and how we will be able to observe.

This telescope collects about 240 times more light than the human eye at night, providing the ability to observe objects up to nearly 12 stellar magnitudes (with naked eye visibility up to 6 stellar magnitudes). The size of the mirror is also related to the optical resolution, which in this telescope makes it possible to resolve stars that are more than 1.1" away from each other.

The telescope is equipped with Red Dot Finder.

Mounting
The EQ2 Paralactic Mount equipped with micromotion allows you to position the telescope according to an atlas or sky map and move smoothly in the axis of rectascension and declination. It is an improved head with a higher load capacity and better stability than the EQ1, especially recommended for telescopes with a diameter of 130mm. The mount should be properly set up and aligned with the north pole of the sky, and with this we will be able to operate the telescope in a simple way.

Extractor
The telescope is equipped with an eyepiece extractor, allowing the use of 1.25" eyepieces. Two 10mm and 25mm eyepieces are included, giving magnifications of 65x and 26x.
