Smith's Diamond Arkansas Precision Sharpening System

Knife sharpening set manufactured by Smith's. The use of the V-Lock handle reverses the typical sharpening process - the immobilized knife is rubbed by the stone.

The V-Lock handle allows stable locking of the knife, allowing to maintain a constant sharpening angle selected from 4 available settings - 20, 25, 30 or 35°. To move the stones, there is a metal rod, guided through the guide, with a thread for fixing the stone .

There are 4 types of stones included in the set . The coarse diamond stone is designed for pre-sharpening heavily dulled blades. The fine diamond stone is used for general sharpening of gently dulled blades. Both diamond stones are equipped with a Micro-Tool Sharpening Pad dedicated to sharpening the tip of the knife and a special groove for sharpening fishing hooks. The natural Arkansas fine stone is dedicated to wet use for sharpening and polishing the blade, while the triangular sharpening stone is recommended for knives with a serrated cutting edge.
