Snugpak Softie 6 Kestrel Sleeping bag Olive - Right

Compact sleeping bag mummy type made of Snugpack's proprietary materials such as Paratex Light, Paratex Steelplate and Softie Premier. It provides thermal comfort up to a temperature of 0°C for women (T-comfort) and -5°C for men (T-limit).

The outer layer of the sleeping bag is made of Paratex Steelplate, which provides high breathability, good wind protection and high moisture resistance thanks to the use of DWR impregnation (Durable Water Repellency). Thanks to this, even during humid mornings outdoors, dew drops will collect on the surface of the sleeping bag without causing it to get wet.

The inner layer of the sleeping bag is made of material Paratex Light, which features a soft texture, high wind resistance and breathability of 12l/m2/24h. High breathability prevents moisture from collecting inside the sleeping bag, formed in condensation of heat generated by the body and low ambient temperature.

Inside the sleeping bag, in the foot area, there is a reinforced piece of material, which, in addition to improving the insulating properties, makes it possible to sleep in shoes without worrying about damaging the sleeping bag. There are also placed two small loops, which allow easy hanging of the sleeping bag and its ventilation.

The sleeping bag's filling is Softie Premier, which provides good warmth retention even in humid environments, and its soft texture makes the sleeping bag pleasant to the touch. The special design of the filling's fibers, allows hand and machine washing of the sleeping bag if needed.

Additional protection against heat loss is the classic for sleeping bags mummy type drawstring around the head.

The sleeping bag has been equipped with a special hemming around the zipper, which eliminates the possibility of cutting the material when opening or closing the sleeping bag. The Softie 6 model allows you to combine right- and left-side sleeping bag closures to create a double sleeping bag.

The set includes a compression pouch, which facilitates efficient transportation of the sleeping bag.

The most important indicators that describe the limits and temperature ranges of sleeping bags are usually marked with the following values:
- T-max - maximum temperature at which a man of average build is able to sleep through the night without sweating excessively and without waking up due to heat,
- T-comfort - the lowest temperature at which an average woman can sleep comfortably all night,
- T-limit - the lowest temperature at which an average man can sleep all night.
