Radio designed by Specna Arms in cooperation with Baofeng. A 5-watt dual-band (so-called duobander) radio, the radio operates in two frequency ranges VHF and UHF. It has a large and easy-to-read two-line backlit display.
The model features a dual push-to-talk (PTT) button, allowing transmission on two frequencies. Also worth mentioning is the ability to connect a PTT microphone.
The Shortie-13 also has a number of features for easy identification, grouping and operation, including programming from a computer, keypad locking, selective calling, and VOX, or voice-activated broadcasting.
