NRC Survive Outdoors Longer thermal poncho

Rescue thermal poncho manufactured by American company Survive Outdoors Longer. It will find use during emergency situations, on the mountain trail, during inclement weather in the woods. 

The purpose of the poncho is to protect a person's body from rapid heat loss, insulate from the ground temperature and protect from adverse weather conditions like wind or rain.

It is made of durable material - polypropylene, which retains up to 90% of the heat generated by the body. The generous cut freely covers the entire body, the large hood effectively protects against wind and moisture.  Its surface is metallized in orange color. The metallic, reflective color of the poncho allows the injured person to be easily found in the field. 

It is an ideal addition to the first aid kit, and outdoor expedition equipment, thanks to its small size, it will easily fit into a backpack or even a pants pocket.
