Texar ECWCS Conger Jacket - PL Camo

Vapour-permeable and waterproof jacket with hood made from the three-layer Storm-Tex System fabric. The jacket is breathable thanks to its vapour-permeability, which prevents excessive perspiration.

Waterproof zipped vents under the armpits allow the internal temperature to be balanced.

The jacket features five zipped pockets:
- two classic hip pockets,
- one on each shoulder,
- an internal one at chest level.

The cuffs are adjustable with a Velcro-fastened patch, allowing the size to be adjusted depending on the thickness of the wrist and whether the wearer is also wearing gloves or a watch, for example. The jacket is also adjustable at the waist belt.

The attachable zipped deep hood is spacious enough to wear over a head already protected by a cap. The drawstrings make it possible to increase the hood's tightness even in very adverse weather conditions.

Four velcro panels - one on each sleeve and two on the chest - allow you to attach any patches or emblems, such as the national flag, unit emblem or so-called Morale Patches, so you can give the jacket a personal touch.

The main zip is bi-directional, which increases the user's freedom of access to the trouser pockets. In addition, the zipper is protected by a zip strip, which ensures better temperature retention under the jacket and prevents strong winds from penetrating the zip. The slat also prevents the zipper from blocking due to the accumulation of dirt, dust, sand and leaves, or even freezing water or snow clumping on it.

Texar PL Camo is the name given by the manufacturer to the camouflage which is a close equivalent of the wz. 93 "Panther", in force in the Polish Armed Forces. Superimposed on a grey-green background, irregular patches in black, brown and green provide good camouflage in open and forested areas of Poland and other Central European countries.
