A large, easy-to-read compass dial with a liquid-filled interior provides precision and stability in reading directions. A rotating ring with a declination scale helps to accurately determine the direction of march. Several map-reading scales and a ruler in centimeters and inches are placed on the edges of the case. In addition, the compass is equipped with an angular measure up to ^35o.

Included with the compass is a sturdy nylon cord, which allows you to hang the compass around your neck or next to your backpack.
