Wiley X Ozone Captivate Polarized Tactical Glasses - Grey/Matte Black

The Ozone model provides protection for the eyes from both mechanical injury and the harmful effects of intense light. The frames and lenses of the glasses are made with HVP (High Velocity Protection) technology, which protects the eyes from injuries that can be caused by objects moving at high speed. They are equipped with CLICK A.I.R (Air Intake Regulator) gasket with quick-click ventilation system for ventilation and fogging elimination.

The frames are made of durable Triloid plastic. Their shape ensures a good fit and does not limit comfort when using headphones or ear protectors. Rubber, non-slip temple tips and nose pads keep the glasses stable on the face.

The lenses are made of durable Selenite polycarbonate. They provide light transmission of 15%. They are perfect for outdoor activities in sunny weather and bright lighting conditions.

Polarized lenses made with Captivate technology equalize the visible light spectrum so that light reaches the eye more evenly. They preserve neutral color tones while enhancing greens. They reduce glare and enhance contrast and color in outdoor environments and provide eye protection against harmful UVA and UVB ultraviolet rays, as well as blue light (HEV).

The lenses feature an Oleophobic coating that prevents dust, dirt, oil, snow and water from adhering, making the lenses much easier to clean than standard lenses without a coating. The T-Shell coating protects against scratches.

The glasses meet the standards:
- ANSI Z87.1+ (High Mass Protection) - according to this standard, the frame and lenses must withstand the impact of an object weighing 0.5 kg falling from about 130 centimeters,
- ANSI Z87.1+ (High Velocity Protection) - according to this standard, the frame and visor will withstand the impact of a 6.35 mm diameter steel ball moving at 164.6 km/h (45 m/s),
- EN.166F standard - meets the European standard for protection against the impact of accelerated particles (Medium Energy Impact), according to this standard, the frame and visors will withstand the impact of a steel ball with a diameter of 6 mm and a weight of 0.86 g, moving at a speed of 162 km/h.
