Wisport Winter Trekking Socks

Socks designed for hiking in winter conditions. The high content of warming and heat-insulating fabrics gives a very important in winter thermal comfort for the feet. This is especially important in winter, when the feet, through contact with a very chilled ground, have a large area of heat loss, resulting in an all-pervading feeling of cold.

Thermolite - is one of the most modern insulating materials of the DuPont corporation, designed for use in the most extreme winter conditions. It is produced from elastic, spiral fibers, which provide soft and pleasant to the body, thermal insulation. It has a low self-volume, high durability and, most importantly, retains its heat-insulating performance even in increased humidity.

Perfectly designed and made of top-quality raw materials, it allows use even in extremely harsh winter tourism conditions. The design takes into account the specifics of winter tourism, the specifics of the construction of trekking boots, places of increased pressure on the foot and places of abrasion. They are adapted to the anatomical shape of the left and right foot, have padding in sensitive areas, welts and bands, appropriate reinforcements and flat seams in the toe area. The padding and reinforcements are made of properly shaped terry cloth, which has been given a different contour around the toes of the left and right foot. This reduces the feeling of fatigue and eliminates swelling.

- Wide cuff (welt) with carefully selected elasticity.
- Elastic bands on the foot and around the ankle improve the stability of the foot and prevent the socks from slipping and rolling.
- Reinforcements on the heels and in the toe and shin area, are made of three-layer, profiled terry cloth through which they absorb shocks and protect against abrasions and increase the durability of the socks.
- A special stitch on the instep prevents the socks from slipping and wrinkling.
- The flat seam in the toe area prevents chafing.
