Manufactured by Z-Tactical, the ZO31 headset is designed to be mounted on a fast type helmet. The model is equipped with built-in microphones (one at each earpiece), amplifying ambient noises. A volume control is built into the headset, and when connected to a radio, the two sound levels can be balanced, so you can hear both radio announcements and your surroundings without interference.
The ZO31 headset uses an automatic system to suppress harmful sounds when they exceed the safe level they are suppressed, and when the setting stops they return to the programmed level.
The microphone has been mounted on a flexible cable to facilitate optimal positioning. The protectors are powered by two AA batteries (not included).
The Z-Tactical ZO31 model features a dedicated rail mount for FAST type helmets.
To make the set complete, it must be combined with a PTT module and a radio.
