The jacket does not have a collar, as its constriction around the neck turns into a hood. Such a solution gives a sense of comfort during frost and gale force winds.
The jacket has 6 pockets: 2 deep and insulated on the chest, 2 at waist level, 1 on the sleeve and 1 inside. The outer pockets are closed with nap type snaps.
The sleeves are of the same thickness as the rest of the jacket, while hidden elastic cuffs in the sleeve prevent shifting and exposing the hands and wrists to frost even during very vigorous movements. Additional protection against the cold is a drawstring waistband.
The jacket is made of a blend of unweathered fabrics: nylon and polyester, which also guarantees high resistance to getting wet.
