A warm jacket with a cut reminiscent of the popular flyers-type flight jackets. The outer layer is made of durable high-quality nylon. The lining and polyester filling provide protection from the cold. The jacket is wind and water resistant.
The MA1 model is equipped with two side pockets with snap-fastening flaps. There is an additional zippered pocket on the shoulder with an organizer sewn on top for a pen or other small accessories.
At the collar, wrists and waist there are knitted welts, which further protect against the cold and allow for a better fit. The jacket is fastened with a solid zipper.
The MA1 can be worn on either the right or left side. The inner part was made in a reflective orange color scheme. This distinctive solution is related to the original purpose of MA-1 jackets for USAF pilots. In the event of a malfunction or shoot-down, they had a better chance of being rescued by search services. Nowadays, this ingenious solution can work well when moving along the side of an unlit road outside a built-up area.
